F&F In the Community: Julian Ellis Participates in Panel Discussion at Chinook Trail Middle School

Last week, our partner Julian Ellis participated in a panel discussion at Chinook Trail Middle School, joining Judge HayDen Kane and Eric Hall for an engaging panel on law and the U.S. Constitution.

The event brought together practitioners for a student-moderated Q&A with the entire eighth-grade class—nearly 300 students exploring how the Constitution guides the courts and protects individual rights.

Throughout the discussion, panelists covered topics including:

➤ Judicial interpretation and the role of courts in upholding the Constitution
➤ Modern challenges lawyers face in interpreting the Constitution
➤ The First Amendment and free speech in schools and on social media

We’re grateful to Chinook Trail Middle School for inviting members of the legal community to participate in this educational dialogue, and we commend the student moderators for their thoughtful questions and leadership in organizing such an impactful event.
