First & Fourteenth represents the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne in their fight against a New York law that requires their long-term care facility, Rosary Hill Home, to assign dying cancer patients by gender identity rather than by biological sex and to require their sisters and staff undergo “cultural competency” training consistent with the State’s support for gender ideology.
The Sisters continue to fight for their right to serve according to their faith, even as New York continues pushing to dismiss the case.
