Ed Gleason is a trial lawyer whose practice emphasizes commercial litigation and arbitration. He has first chaired more than fifty trials in state and federal courts throughout Colorado. He also has tried several cases to arbitrators, and argued numerous appeals in the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado and Wyoming Supreme Courts.
Ed is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only fellowship of exceptional trial lawyers in the United States and Canada, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only organization of experienced trial lawyers dedicated to the promotion of civility and professionalism. He has been continuously listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2015, and is one of only 128 lawyers who have been listed in Colorado Super Lawyers for 20 consecutive years.
Ed is a graduate of Stanford Law School. Prior to law school, he was a certified public accountant and worked for a Big Eight accounting firm. Ed has long been active in professional and nonprofit organizations in Colorado Springs. He is a past President of the El Paso County Bar Association and has chaired the boards of Pikes Peak United Way, YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado, and the El Paso County Bar Foundation.
