Edward A. Gleason

Ed Gleason is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a seasoned trial lawyer whose practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration. With over fifty first chair trials in state and federal courts throughout Colorado, plus extensive arbitration experience, Ed brings deep courtroom expertise to business disputes. Beyond his trial work, Ed has handled numerous appeals before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado and Wyoming Supreme Courts.

Ed is a graduate of Stanford Law School. His background as a former certified public accountant provides valuable insight into the financial complexities often at the heart of commercial litigation. He has earned consistent recognition including twenty consecutive years of listing in Colorado Super Lawyers (one of only 128 Colorado lawyers with this distinction), listings in Best Lawyers in America since 2015 and Benchmark Litigation’s Litigation Stars for 2026, and membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates

Deeply committed to the Colorado Springs community, Ed has led numerous nonprofit organizations as board chair, including Pikes Peak United Way, Catholic Charities of Southern Colorado, YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, and Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado. He has also served on the boards of Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the Pikes Peak Marathon, and he is a past President of the El Paso County Bar Association.
