Meet Rob Bucknam, Associate at First & Fourteenth
Rob is a litigator who helps clients navigate complex commercial disputes, constitutional matters, and appellate issues. He brings experience representing clients in high-stakes civil cases and has authored amicus briefs before federal circuit courts. His practice also includes trademark matters and proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Before entering law school, Rob served on active duty in the United States Army as an infantry officer, deploying to Afghanistan, and later worked in business strategy product development for a global medical device corporation.
Rob holds a J.D. from the University of Denver, an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, and a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is admitted to practice in Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is also active in the legal community through the Colorado Bar Association, Federalist Society, and as an Allied Attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys flying and spending time in the mountains with his wife and three sons.
